Collaborative Data and Information Processing for Target Tracking In Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, we present the development of data and information processing algorithms for target tracking in wireless sensor networks. Firstly, we propose a collaborative data and information processing framework and describe hierarchical sensor network architecture. Then we design the novel particle filter (PF) based tracking algorithms. By using Gaussian mixture model (GMM), we develop the distributive particle filter based tracking algorithms. Finally, we present the simulation results.
