Model Analysis and Simulation of Traction System for Medium-speed Maglev Traffic with Single-sided Ironless Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor

The medium-speed maglev traffic with permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) based on single-sided ironless coil is a new traffic system which has the advantages of light weight, small normal force, little thrust fluctuation and low cost. Analytical model of medium-speed maglev traffic traction system considering the influence of the feeder cable and the switching of primary segment is established in this paper. On this basis, a simulation study is carried out, and the results obtained are of great significance to the design and the optimization of the traction system for medium-speed maglev traffic.
