Wideband Sonar Signal Design for Moving Target Parameter Estimation

The signal waveform design of wideband high frequency sonar is proposed. Using the ridge slope invariability property of wideband HFM signal, moving target parameter estimation is discussed. Real time results are presented and show the prospect of wideband HFM signals in underwater signal processing applications. Keywords-signal design; HFM; CWT; Moving target; estimation
