Development of the Kvaerner Multiresonant OWC

This work is a contribution to a research and development activity carried out at the Norwegian Hydrotechnical Laboratory on contract from and in close co-operation with Kvaerner Brug A/S. Our main contribution to the development of cost-effective wave energy converters has been the introduction of a socalled harbour in front of the absorber which increases the bandwidth. We are also able to bring the first results from the prototype tests of an oscillating water column built at Toftestallen west of Bergen.
