Chain relaxation behavior in single-phase mixtures of dissimilar polymers

To get a deeper understanding of the cooperative relaxation in relation to the specific interactions and the nematic ordering, simultaneous measurements of stress and birefringence were carried out as a function of time after shear deformation for the melts of poly(methyl methacrylate)/poly(vinylidene fluoride) blends.
