A linear parameter variant H/sub /spl infin// controller design for a permanent magnet synchronous machine

A robust decoupling current multivariable controller for a permanent synchronous machine is designed using a linear parameter variant (LPV) of Hinfin control. This controller is scheduled with the rotor speed.
