Sequential Approach for Management of Renewable Natural Resources with Applications to Forestry 1

We propose a sequential approach for creation of models of management of renewable natural resources. Namely, a long-term model evaluates the basic trajectory of the system and gives restrictions from the ecological point of view, i.e. constraints for providing sustainable development. Next, a middle-term model gives local optimal planning values from the economical point of view within the previous restrictions. Afterwards, a short-term model gives further specialization of solutions for the next closer planning period. This approach can be interpreted as an example of the sequential goal pursuit.
