A framework of Performance Assessment of Collaborative Supply Chain

Abstract Collaborative Supply Chain: CSC plays a crucial role in a complex manufacturing environment. In a CSC, two or more independent companies can jointly plan and operate a supply chain to achieve greater operating advantages. This paper conceptualizes CSCas five key dimensions: collaborative communication, information exchange, goal congruence, decision synchronization and resource sharing. Following we propose a framework for financial and non financial performance characterization and an analytical model for performance assessment of CSC dimensions [Bauman E.C and Botta V. 2014]. The framework is used to characterize a company’s performance in the financial and non financial fields. The analytical assessment model, based on the relationships between CSC dimensions and performance, serves to produce the performance profile of a dimension, identified by a composite index (financial and non financial index). Empirical study is proposed in the Tunisian industry.
