State feedback control for switched LPV systems with actuator saturation and its application to aero-engines

This paper considers the analysis and control problem of a switched linear parameter-varying (SLPV) systems of aero-engines in the presence of actuator saturation. A SLPV model is given based on a family of linearized models of an aeroengine. A simple condition is given under which trajectories starting from an ellipsoid will stay inside an outer ellipsoid. A hysteresis switching law and multiple parameter-dependent Lyapunov functions method are used to design a switched feedback law. Simulation results on an aero-engine SLPV model show that the feasibility and validity of the proposed control method.
