Effect of hologram distortion on detection and generation of orbital angular momentum modes

Profile of Laguerre Gaussian modes detected by holographic mode detector can be deformed into triangular shape due to hologram distortion. This deformation can generally appear for all holograms fabricated by a raster scan based system.
