The utility model discloses a high-strength high-capacity aerial insulated cable which comprises a reinforced core, a stranded conductor and a semiconductive inner-shielding and a weatherable insulating material, wherein the reinforced core, the stranded conductor and the semiconductive inner-shielding and the weatherable insulating material are arranged in sequence from inside to outside. The reinforced core is a circular or noncircular composite core, and can be a selection of any one or any combination of a high-strength carbon fiber composite core, a basalt composite core and an aramid fiber composite core. The reinforced core of the high-strength high-capacity aerial insulated cable is a fiber composite core which has tensile strength up to 2399 Mpa, and enables the tensile strength of the whole insulated cable to be far more than that of existing aluminum alloy conductor insulated cables and aluminum cable steel reinforced conductive wire core aerial insulated cables. An aerial span of the high-strength high-capacity aerial insulated cable is 10-50 times that of ordinary insulated cables. Not only are a large number of towers saved, but also construction period is reduced, and land use fee, manpower cost, equipment cost and the like are greatly saved. Simultaneously, since the reinforced core is made of a non-magnetic material, no magnetic loss is generated in operation, and therefore a large amount of energy sources such as coal and water are saved for the country.
