The relationship between the supervisory working alliance and trainees' experience of role conflict and role ambiguity.

In a study based on a sample of 123 counselor trainees in the United States, results indicated that a stronger supervisory working alliance was predictive of less trainee role conflict and ambiguity in supervision.
