Proposal: a national educational computer consortium

The last three chairs of SIGCUE have all been very interested in fostering cooperatio n between the various groups concerned with the computer in learning . A number of suc h groups are active at the present time, with slightly different interests but wit h considerable level of overlap . ADCIS and AEDS have roughly similar size membership t o SIGCUE . Furthermore, other organizations, such as the Conference on Computers in th e Undergraduate Curriculum, sponsor meetings on related topics . In addition to area s of overlap, each organization does have its own distinctive characteristics .
