The invention provides a simulation method for experimental training on an electric power equipment test based on the Internet. The simulation method comprises the following steps of: establishing and storing an electric power equipment simulation model, a detection instrument simulation model and an experimental scene simulation model at a server; downloading the electric power equipment simulation model, the detection instrument simulation model and the experimental scene simulation model at a client; introducing the electric power equipment simulation model and the detection instrument simulation model in the experimental scene simulation model; and in the experimental scene simulation model, performing simulation training by virtue of the detection instrument simulation model and the electric power equipment simulation model.
