User Selection Strategy with Limited Feedback in MIMO System

Aiming at user selection problem for limited feedback Multiple Input Multiple Output(MIMO) system,a novel user selection strategy is proposed in this paper. The capacity-loss upper bound of the system, which employs Zero Forcing BeamForming(ZFBF) pre-coding,is deduced first, and the analysis shows that the minimum capacity-loss conforms to optimization of maximum capacity. Thus the user selection strategy based on the minimum capacity-loss is proposed, the strategy screens users according to the channel quantization error.Comparison with to the present algorithms indicates that, the proposed algorithm could dramatically reduces the computational complexity and the expenses of the system produced by CQI feedback.Simulation results show that the proposed strategy could remarkably improve capacity performance of the system.
