The C State of N2+, Studied by Photoelectron Spectroscopy

The He II photoelectron spectrum of N2 between 23.5 and 28.0 eV taken at high resolution makes it possible to propose an extension of the known region of the C2Σu+ state of N2+. Comparison is made with band-spectroscopic data and recent mass-spectrometric data.
