An Exercise in Computing transients on Transmission Lines in Teaching Electromagnetics

This paper presents a novel scheme for computing reflections and transients on transmission lines. It consists of & algorithm that forms suitable material for an undergraduate class and has the merit of exciting the interest undergraduates by enhancing the role of computer assisted instruction. The algorithm is given here as a pseudo-code to guide the students, and is explained through an example that is suitable for class room use.
