An application of the dynamic deformation model to the N=84 isotones 138Xe-146Sm

The dynamic deformation model (DDM) is applied to the N=84 isotones 138Xe to 146Sm, using two prescriptions for the pairing strengths. The results are compared with experiment and with the results of a calculation using the dynamic-pairing-plus-quadrupole model (DPPQM).
