Modeling and Controller Design of the Z-Source Inverter with Inductive Load

This paper proposes an average model for the Z- source inverter with inductive load using state space averaging. Based on this model, a controller is designed using gain scheduling by continuously varying the control gains according to the operating point. The average model is verified by simulation results. The validity of the controller is proved by experimental results.
