The Collision of Ship-Bridge Pier and It's Fending Calculation

The calculating theory and the pivotal problem of practical application about the nonlinear FE dynamic simulation of shipbridge collision is discussed briefly. According to the calculating demonstration of the collision between 50,000 DWT bulk ship bow and the pier, the modeling process of the structure, the time course of the collision force and the losing energy is explained, and the function of the fending device of the pier is analysed.
