Technical and Tactical Characteristics of China Female Taekwondo Olympic Champion WU Jing-yu under the New Rules

With the rules changes in taekwondo game,the paper takes WU Jing-yu,London Olympics 49kg champion,as the research object,through method of literature review,expert interviews,video analysis and mathematical statistics.The paper makes statistical analysis on her technical and tactical performance by the following six indicators which are opportunity creation,respond of opportunity,technical applications,tactical applications,attack site,scoring rate and loss rate in the recent main tournament.The purpose is to study the technical and tactical characteristics of WU Jing-yu,China female taekwondo 49 kg Olympic champion,under the new rules,and to provide certain theoretical reference for training practice of this event in the new period.
