Research on Load Balance and Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm in Wireless Sensor Network

An improved PEGASIS chain construction algorithm is presented.Then,based on the structure of layered chain,a Load Balance and Energy Efficient Routing Algorithm(LBEERA) that is centralized controlled by the Base Station(BS) is proposed.LBEERA makes good use of the adventages of both cluster-based routing algorithm and chain-based routing algorithm.LBEERA divides the sensor network into several clusters,and nodes within each cluster form a lower chain,and a higher chain including all leader nodes of lower chains is formed as well.Simulation results show that LBEERA achieves better load balance than LEACH and PEGASIS,raises network lifetime and reduces the packet delivering delay.
