Carbon-efficient Virtual Machine Placement in Cloud Datacenters over Optical Networks

We propose an ILP scheme for virtual machine (VM) placement in cloud datacenters(DCs) to minimize the overall carbon emissions of cloud DCs while satisfying the communication demands and latency requirements of VM services.
