Method for testing terminal cell reselection ability and apparatus thereof

The invention discloses a method for testing a terminal cell reselection ability. The method comprises the following steps: adjusting the terminal to stay in a current cell and entering into a high-speed or medium-speed mode; adjusting emission powers of the current cell and an adjacent cell so that the current cell and the adjacent cell satisfy a reselection condition from the current cell to the adjacent cell under the high-speed or medium-speed mobile mode; maintaining the adjusted emission powers till a preset time threshold is reached; and then detecting whether the terminal carries out cell reselection successfully through detecting whether the terminal stays in the adjacent cell. The invention also discloses an apparatus of testing the terminal cell reselection ability. In the invention, a test of whether the terminal possesses the cell reselection ability under the high-speed or medium-speed mobile mode can be realized. Therefore, in actual generation, authentication and the test of whether the terminal possesses the cell reselection ability can be achieved.
