This paper gave researchers about an overview of face recognition's methods.Firstly,it introduced the concept and deve-lopment of face recognition,and also talked about its main difficulties.Then studied a number of classic and popular methods appeared in the course of face recognition development process.Lastly,discussed the situations of applications of face recognition home and abroad.
