Abstract Mobil's fluid-bed Methanol-to-Gasoline (MTG) process was successfully scaled-up, from 0.04m diameter reactor, through 0.1m, to 0.6m diameter demonstration plant. Gas tracer responses in cold flow models were interpreted by a one-dimensional axial dispersion model, and combined with reaction kinetics to develop a conversion model.
