Optical switching signal processing method and device

Provided are an optical switching signal processing method and device, which relate to the technical field of communications, and can solve the problems of serious waste of links and performance degradation of an optical switching system due to the fact that the response time is too long when a receiver receives a data packet. The method comprises: by receiving a first control packet, acquiring an output port and a packet length of a first data packet indicated by routing information therein, so as to use the output port to send the first data packet; and finally, after it is determined that the output port is idle according to packet length monitoring, sending a filling packet by means of the output port. The embodiments of the present invention are used for realizing signal processing when optical signal switching is performed.
