Cavitation on the missile's surface has great effect on the forces and mechanical environment of submarine launched missile moving underwater with a high speed.The numerical computations for cavitation at large angles of attack are made.And its precision is demonstrated with the comparisons between the calculation results and experiments.The distribution of pressure on surface and the shape of cavitation at different attack angles is obtained.The influence of attack angle and cavitation number on the hydrodynamic force is given.
