ECONOMIC SELECTION OF DRY BULK MARINE TERMINAL HANDLING SYSTEMS
暂无分享,去创建一个
This paper describes the composition and operation of a typical large marine dry bulk loading and unloading terminal. The factors affecting the design of the terminal, as well as the tools and procedures used to determine the optimum handling rates and to design the master plan, are also discussed. A sample calculation showing in detail the methods used to arrive at the optimum shiploading rate for a given throughput and average ship size is a highlight of the paper. Finally, possible future trends in bulk cargo movement and its effect on dry bulk marine terminals are briefly discussed.
