The invention discloses an EMTDC (Electromagnetic Transients Including Direct Current) simulation initialization method by utilizing nodes of an equivalent generator of a controlled power supply. The method comprises the following steps that 1) a controlled power supply model of the nodes of the equivalent generator is built in an EMTDC simulation model of a system, and the types of the nodes of the equivalent generator are determined; 2) initial values are set for parameters of a phase angle controller and an magnitude value controller of the controlled power supply; EMTDC simulation is executed; a transition process curve of a measurement signal is observed; if the transition process curve of the measurement signal rapidly converges to an equilibrium state, the voltage amplitude value and the phase angle in the equilibrium state are recorded and serve as the initialization parameters of the generator; or else, Step 3) is conducted; 3) PI (proportional integral) controller parameters of the phase angle controller and the amplitude value controller are adjusted according to an observed result of the transition process curve of the measurement signal till the transition process curve of the measurement signal converges to an acceptable scope within an acceptable time; and the voltage amplitude value and the phase angle in the state are recorded and serve as the initialization parameters of the generator. The method is convenient to operate and apply.
