GEOSPATIAL DATA IN EMERGENCIES. IN: THE GEOGRAPHICAL DIMENSIONS OF TERRORISM

This paper explores options for improving access to geospatial data in emergency situations. Sub-sections of the paper expand on each of the major issues--support for search, interoperability of formats, and limitations on accuracy--and assess prospects for progress. Lastly, some remaining issues are discussed, and possible outcomes for the future are detailed.
