V3V - VOLUMETRIC THREE-COMPONENT VELOCIMETRY FOR 3D FLOW MEASUREMENTS - MAIN PRINCIPLE, THEORY AND APPLICATIONS

V3V - Volumetric Three-Component Velocimetry is a novel technique for instantaneous volumetric measurement of the three-dimensional velocity fields mainly in water/liquid flows. The main component of a V3V system is a unique single-body, three-aperture, 12-Mega-pixel CCD camera for "point and shoot" 3D image recording. V3V uses volume illumination with Nd:YAG laser so that
