Quick Arithmetic of Analysis of Stability of Double-leg Thin-wall High Piers during Construction

The static stability factor of double-leg thin-wall high piers under the action of construction loads is deduced and presented by a simple algebraic expression by making use of the Principle of Energy. Analysis of a computational example indicates that the result calculated with the algebraic expression agrees well with those of ANSYS calculation. The method in this paper is very convenient,accurate and practical.
