The invention relates to a crawler type engineering driller comprising a chassis, a hydraulic device, an operating rack, a drilling tower and a drilling power head, wherein the hydraulic device, the operating rack and the drilling tower are all arranged on the chassis; the chassis is provided with a mud pump which is connected with the drilling power head through a delivery pipeline and is used for delivering a medium for drilling into the drilling power head; a crawler traveling structure is arranged under the chassis; a hydraulic motor is connected with a traveling driving wheel to drive the traveling driving wheel to rotate; a crawler is arranged between the traveling driving wheel and a driven wheel; the traveling driving wheel drives the crawler to rotate when rotating. The driller provided by the invention has a self-traveling crawler type structure so as to be convenient to transport, and particularly, the driller can be rapidly transferred to an adjacent drilling position through the crawler type structure after one hole is drilled on an operation site; the driller is provided with four forward gears and one reverse gear, and the drilling speed is determined according to the actual geological condition during drilling, so that the driller is in an optimal drilling state, the abrasion is reduced, the service life of the driller is prolonged, and the drilling effect is improved.
