Finding a representative emissivity value by using grey box technique

AIsfraef -A common problem when measuring temperature with radiation thermometry is the lack of knowledge about the emissivity value. By using a model of a process derived by nonlinear grey box technique an estimation of a representative emissivity value is presented. The process is a cooling process in the making of stainless sled The model accuracy is evaluated with actual operation data and the unknown parameters of the model are esiimated off-lins The estimated representative emissiviw value is set to be constant within the different production stages for the steel strip.
