Applying the theory of task-technology fit to mobile technology: the role of user mobility

The results of a survey of 216 users of mobile technology suggest that user mobility needs to be taken into account when applying the theory of task-technology fit to mobile technology. In addition, the paper provides specific insights about the technology requirements of an increasingly mobile workforce.
