Improvement measures for imported boiler circulating pump motor

Boiler circulating pump(BCP) is an important device for the forced circulation boiler system in power plants.Compared with the ordinary pump motor,the BCP motor has some remarkable characteristics in running conditions,manufacturing technology,maintenance and fault probability.For the normal aging of the BCP motor in Unit 1 and Unit 2 of Baosteel Power Plant,this paper not only analyzed its causes and tendency,but also presented four possible schemes to replace or improve the BCP motor.After the comparison of the four schemes in economy,reliability and complexity had been made,an optimized scheme was put forward and carried out.Now the aging problem of the imported motor for the BCP has been solved by taking corresponding measures for technological improvement,which not only improved the device's reliability,but also reduced the production cost.
