Análise estrutural e térmica de edificações em aço constituídas de perfis formados a frio

Lightweight cold-formed steel beams are being used in Brazil due to its low weight and excellent versatility. The use in residencial buildings is not so usual mainly because there are few researches in this country for this application. The structural study will be based on an architectural project of a 4-story building using cold-formed steel. The adopted architectural solution will be assessed estructurally with respect to a non-conventional method according to its dimensional and constructive aspects. This paper aims at the analysis of lightweight cold-formed steel structure, autoclaved cellular concrete panel slabs as well as dry plaster and cementitious plate walls. Bond studies will be developed following the concept of steel gloves so to optimize the assembling and manufacture processes, making them more effective, practical and at low cost. Along with the structural analysis, thermal analysis have been realized accordingly the original architectural project.
