Development of the Experimental System for Measuring the Hydrodynamic Noise in Centrifugal Pump

The key principle and the experimental system for measuring the hydraulic noise in the pump are investigated. The measurement based on two-port networks is emphasized here. The hydrodynamic parameters, the vibration, underwater noise and air noise can be measured and analyzed synchronously. The hydrodynamic parameters, such as pressure, flow rate and rotation speed, can be easily controlled by the computer, thus the relationship between the hydraulic noise and the hydrodynamic parameters can be observed with this system, the hydraulic noise generation of the centrifugal pump can be investigated deeply, and the result of the noise control methods can also be verified.
