Thermal Comfort in the Tropical South East Asia Region

The current ISO and ASHRAE standards for thermal comfort, recommend universal values for comfort temperatures. They do not distinguish between people living in temperate climates such as Europe and those in warm-humid climates such as the South East Asia region. This paper tries to assess whether the current standards on thermal comfort, which were mainly established from research in mild climates would be fit for people in the warm-humid South East Asia region.
