The Algorithm Implementation of FEM in EIT

Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) technology has recently become a hot study topic in biomedical engineering, in which the fast algorithm implementation of finite element method (FEM) is a primary work for the clinical application of EIT in the future. FEM is applied in a specific situation of 2 D image reconstruction of EIT, the formation of element characteristic matrix is deduced in detail, and the assembly rule of general matrix and the solution of equations are presented. All of the algorithms are implemented with Visual C++ 6 0 and run very fast.
