The Ethics of Hardball

Business executives often appear to exhibit values different from those held by their wives and non-business friends. The result of this tension can be personal agony and costly misunderstandings. Sometimes, however, there is reason why the values of business differ from those of everyday life. It is the nature of the challenge that is the culprit. The author calls the challenge of business ethics "hardball" and offers insights and advice.
