Calculation method of volume of surge water for deposit pits

The paper, devoted to a better forecast of surge water volume of the exploitable mine pits, introduces the calculation of the volume of surge water in the 800-water level of Linhai Iron deposit by using the method of underground water dynamics and analytic theory. The comparison between these two methods shows the relative error of 6.0% and 1.4% respectively. The method of underground water analytic theory proves more accurate.
