Multi-target tracking based on multi-sensor information fusion with fuzzy inference

The multi-target tracking (MIT) system based on multi-sensor information fUsion cannot only be used to track the targets Simultaneously, but also to improve the tracking accuracy. A significant problem in MIT is the data association (DA) of track-to-measurem ent, and DA is the precondition of realizing the MTT system based on multi-sensor information fusion. An association algorithm based on fuzzy inference is proposed in this paper, and according to the desire of the radar/infrared image fUsed tracking system, the accurate tracking for multi-targets in heavily cluttered environment is implemented. The simulation results indicate thai the proposed method is very effiCient.
