A TWO-PARAMETER FAMILY OF HADAMARD MATRICES OF ORDER 6 INDUCED BY HYPOCYCLOIDS

Constructions of Hadamard matrices from blocks satisfying certain conditions is a well-known method in the theory of real Hadamard matrices. The classical arrays of Williamson, Ito and even tensoring Hadamard matrices is a construction procedure involving smaller order building blocks. We apply this method for order 6 to obtain a new, previously unknown 2-dimensional family of complex Hadamard matrices, which is described via closed analytic formulæ. Our results can be considered as a one-parametric extension of the B6(t) family found by Beauchamp and Nicoara very recently [1]. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification.
