Streaming media adaptor, streaming media network interaction system and method

The invention provides a streaming media adaptor. The streaming media adapter is connected with at least one client and at least one target server, determines a first protocol adopted by the client according to a streaming media request which is transmitted from the client according to the format of the first protocol, and determines a second protocol adopted by the target server through adaption to the protocol of the target server according to the IP (internet protocol) and port number of the target server, which is carried by the streaming media; and the streaming adapter transmits a streaming media request to the target server according to the format of the second protocol, and transmits a streaming media file to the client according to the IP address, the port number and the format of the first protocol, which are transmitted by the client, of the target server. The invention also provides a system and method of streaming media network interaction. By the adoption of the adapter, the system and the method, streaming media interaction between the client and the server adopting different transmission protocols can be realized.
