A scalable loading balancing system for NOWs

This paper presents an adaptive scalable load balancing system LOBAC for NOWs, which can balance loads based on cluster unit instead of node unit. In this paper, a hierarchical scheduling model is described, and the design and implementation of LOBAC are given. The simulation results show that LOBAC has better performance with less overhead, and it can well adapt to different system structures, and also well adapt to larger scale systems.
