The Recording of High Speed Signals in Radio Telegraphy

The requirements of a system to be used for recording high speed signals in commercial trans-oceanic radio telegraphy are discussed. Available methods are described and their advantages and disadvantages pointed out. The development of a new system, utilizing as the recording element a device known as the "Ink Recorder," is described, and typical installations as well as specimen records are shown.
