Simple digital integration algorithm with saturation and drift elimination based Second-Order Generalized Integrator

Integral operator and its digital implementation is a particular point in the estimation and monitoring algorithms using object observers. However, there appears saturation and drift problem on integration of harmonic signals. This paper proposes a simple algorithm based on Second-Order Generalized Integrator (SOGI) with effective elimination output drift of integral operator and prevents saturation in case DC component appears in input signal. Algorithm has accurate results on selected frequency range and frequency adaptation is also possible. Article presents extraction from SOGI structure and detailed analysis of proposed integral operator algorithm. Also shown form of the equations that are easy to implement in digital system. Example of utility proposed integration method was presented on simulation model of DTC-SVM induction motor control technique.
