A method for monitoring error in prescription data of barcode system

A method for monitoring error of prescription data with a barcode system is provided to check a data error for specification/dosage data of prescribed medicine included in a prescription issued from a doctor by monitoring the error of the prescription data with the barcode system. A doctor issues the prescription encoding specification/dosage of the medicine prescribed through medical diagnosis of a patient into a barcode and recording the barcode to the prescription. Information of the barcode recorded in the issued prescription is inputted using a barcode input device, and is decoded and converted into the specification/dosage of the prescribed medicine. The specification/dosage data is compared with medicine information recorded in a database, outputs whether the prescribed specification/dosage is correct through a monitor or a printer, and selects the error prescription. Reconfirmation of the specification or the dosage of the prescribed medicine is requested to the doctor issuing the selected prescription.
